RAVEN CROWING

OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS

Paige Guzis – Raven Crowing

Paige Guzi, Raven Crowing. Oil painting created at Oam Studios Art Academy of Pleasanton California.

Her inaugural venture into oil painting occurred during her tenure as an art student at Oam Studios Art Academy, a moment of immense pride for us. Paige skillfully crafted a striking portrayal of a raven, employing a delicate touch with a fine liner brush, the sweeping strokes of a broad latex fan brush, and Windsor Newton Oil Paints. What truly captivates is her vibrant, joyous color palette, which imbues her otherwise monochromatic raven with a vivid contrast, evoking a profound sense of emotion that seamlessly merges with its surroundings. The hues of the background seem to echo the inner hopes and musings of the raven itself. Paige has crafted a piece that speaks volumes; her artistry is truly commendable.
