Josalyn Chow created a hatching drawing for her third project at Oam Studios. She spent very concentrated hours of tie practicing the cross hatching technique in order to first prepare for the drawing. Immediately afterward, she choose and began to draw her lion sketch in pencil first. Well prepared, she quickly began cross hatching her lion sketch matching and analyzing the values and nuances of her image references.
Once the brilliantly done drawing was complete, she submitted her master work into the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Annual Art Competition.
She was victorious in locking in Second and Third place for her hard earned techniques.
