Aarthi Muthukumar, a student of Oam Studios Art Academy, has been accepted into the CSSSA art program! After months of preparing her art portfolio and learning new techniques to fulfill the application of CSSSA, Aarthi was accepted into this summer’s program.
Participants are selected in the spring, on the basis of their talent and creativity as demonstrated through assignments and teacher recommendations. The admissions process is highly competitive, the program is very difficult to get into and only a few selected students are accepted. Last session approximately one in three applicants in most departments were accepted. Those students that are invited to the school are named California Arts Scholars.
We are very proud of her accomplishment and all the long hours she put in at the art academy and at home to meet the deadlines. Great work Aarthi, we can’t for you to have this fantastic experience!
