Pleasanton Police Officers’ Association

Pleasanton Police Officer Association or PPOA for short.

The goal of the Pleasanton Police Officers Association is to professionally represent the Police Officers who comprise the majority of the Pleasanton Police Department.

The PPOA strives to promote a high level of commitment to public safety and professionalism within the ranks of the Pleasanton Police Department with an emphasis on education, legal support, community outreach, and trust building.

We want our citizens to enjoy an exceptional level of law enforcement protection by attracting and retaining the best and brightest Police Officers, balanced with a focus on the responsible use of tax dollars. The PPOA strives to ensure that the wages of Police Officers are competitive to those being paid to Police Officers in similar cities.

Law enforcement in the City of Pleasanton faces many challenges and with that remains our goal to maintain a professional and high level of service. The Pleasanton Police Officers Association is committed to partnering with our community and city leaders to keep Pleasanton a safe place to live, work and raise a family.
