Dry landscapes? As in drawing baren deserts? No dry landscapes means landscapes created using dry art mediums such as charcoal or pastel. Depending on what dry material has been decided upon and after meeting the prerequisites for that material, we will learn the specific techniques to improve your landscape drwaings.

Master Oamie’s Thoughts

When I create a landscape drawing, I mentally walk myself through the image as though I was observing the landscapes details during a hike. You can only take in so much. Some details are remembered and some are not noticed.

Wet Landscapes

No it’s not raining outside! When we refer to wet landscapes, we are reffering to art mediums that are wet in nature. That means materials such as watercolor or oil paints. Depending on the wet material that you have previously completed, we will now focus entirely on the theories and techniques that make your landscapes more believable and beautiful.

Master Oamie’s Thoughts

As objects are set further in the distance, they are effected bu what we call atmospheric perspective. Simply adding the complimentary ocolor of that obejct will create the natural effects of atmosheric perspective.

Digital Landscape

With the aid of the computer and the magic of the digital age, we will render a few landscape images. We will capture the effects different seasons and climates as though we were making background scenes for a videogame or theatrical scene.

Master Oamie’s Thoughts

Digital landscape is all the rage. Video game companies, movie studios, and children’s book publishing houses all depend on artist to create the scenes that will attract the viewers eyes.
